ABOUT
Al O'Grady
Al O’Grady has a Diploma in Journalism and a BA in Economics. He worked in radio news for several years, went back to university to get a degree, and worked in Commercial Sales for a natural gas company for over 14 years. It was during this time that he discovered technical analysis after reading Technical Analysis in Financial Markets by John Murphy. This intrigued him so much that he prepared himself for his next career by successfully completing the Canadian Securities Course and Professional Financial Planners Course. He worked in financial services as an investment advisor, mortgage lender and investor relations consultant. He is an avid chess and poker player. His poker playing has led him to his current career working in a casino, and he also does freelance writing for several gaming magazines. His interest in the stock market is leading him to retirement where he can play with his two grandsons and pursue his dreams of playing in the World Series of Poker, getting a degree in mathematics and touring the countryside on a Harley.
