Twopercentgoal.com is pleased to announce its performance for 2025. For the year there were a total of 542 stock recommendations made. Three hundred and twelve picks earned 1058.42% while 230 picks lost 562.65% for a total net gain 495.77%. While that number sounds unbelievable, this is only a theoretical number. This rate of return could only have been realized if 100% of your portfolio was placed on each pick and the picks were done individually with no overlap. In reality, you should not put more than 5-10% of your portfolio on one stock and the stock recommendations do overlap. It is not uncommon to have 10-15 stocks at any one time. If you had diversified so that no more than 5% of your portfolio was on one pick and if you had used 3x margin, you would have realized an annual return of 74.4%.
One hundred and ninety-six picks went long earning a total of 672.59% for an average gain of 3.43% per pick. One hundred and sixteen picks were shorted earning 385.83% for an average gain of 3.33% for each recommendation. Going long, 109 picks did not make its 2% goal. Collectively it lost 272.8% for an average loss of 2.5% and 121 short picks were losers falling 289.85% averaging a 2.4% loss per pick.
As the name implies, twopercentgoal.com is all about earning 2% per pick within a week by implementing swing trading techniques. If done consistently throughout the year, that would generate an annual return of 100% and thereby doubling your money each year.
Stop losses are used to minimize losses. A 3% stop loss is used to exit from a pick if it is unsuccessful. There were 305 picks that earned 2% or more while the 3 % stop loss was triggered 123 times. Winners outpaced losers by a ratio of 2.46:1.
There were 55 picks that generated returns greater than 5%. The largest gainers of the year were Applied Materials (AMAT) that earned 21.42% over 12 days in mid September and Expeditors International (EXPD) that earned 15.51% also over 12 days in early November.
Twopercentgoal.com has a swing trading mentality. As opposed to day traders that buy and sell their position intra-day, a swing trading program has a slightly longer time horizon, usually three days to three weeks. The ideal sweet spot is holding a position for one week. Twopercentgoal.com uses several technical analysis tools to reach its goal. It uses Relative Strength Index (RSI), the 50-day/200-day moving averages, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), on-balance volume and the stochastic oscillator. When all tools are used together, it provides a very strong story for success.

We are very proud of our results for 2025 and we look forward to a prosperous 2026.
